I ran chkdsk/r attempting to fix a separate issue. And then I noticed afterwards that during the boot process, I would get this message:autochk* program not found - skipping AUTOCHECK The message shows up after the windows logo and before the logon screen. ![]() I can still run windows just fine with no problems what-so-ever. The only issue with it, is that it's there. I just want to make the message go away. I can make it not show up by selecting 'no GUI boot' in msconfig, but that only masks the issue. If I can fix it, I would like to do that. So, I searched for this issue on the forum here and found THIS. I followed the instructions there, but they didn't work. Is there anything else I can do?
